Autoimmune Conditions

Contact ME

What Is Autoimmunity?

Autoimmunity occurs when your immune system, designed to protect you, mistakenly attacks healthy cells, tissues, and organs. The key question is, why does this happen?

The answer lies in inflammation and the factors that fuel it. When the immune system is overloaded with “fuels” (infections, toxins, stress, etc.), it can become dysregulated, confusing healthy cells for harmful invaders. Think of it like Pac-Man: if the immune system (Pac-Man) is out of control, it will continue attacking. Our goal is to remove the "fuel" so the immune system can calm down, sparing healthy tissue and helping autoimmune conditions go into remission.

Common Autoimmune Conditions We Treat

  • Hashimoto's, Graves, Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA), Type 1 Diabetes
  • Lupus, Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Celiac, Ulcerative Colitis, Crohn’s
  • Psoriasis, Sjogren’s, Alopecia, Impetigo, and more

Common Symptoms of Autoimmunity

Autoimmune conditions often cause overlapping symptoms, including:

  • Chronic Fatigue and Brain Fog
  • Digestive Issues (e.g., bloating, gas, constipation/diarrhea)
  • Food Sensitivities and Reactions to Perfumes/Smells
  • Muscle and Joint Pain
  • Sleep Issues (difficulty falling or staying asleep)
  • Anxiety and Depression
  • Weight Gain and Lack of Motivation
  • Heart Palpitations, Hair Loss
  • Numbness/Tingling, Sinus Issues

The Underlying Causes of Autoimmune Conditions

Think of the causes as "fuels" feeding the inflammatory fire. Each of these factors can keep the immune system dysregulated. Addressing them requires understanding your unique history and symptoms. Some common causes include:

  1. Genetic Susceptibility
  2. Chronic Inflammation and Oxidative Stress (excessive free radicals)
  3. Gut Health Issues (leaky gut, poor diet)
  4. Pathogens (bacterial, viral, fungal, or parasitic infections)
  5. Toxins and Metals (from environment, mold/mycotoxins)
  6. Stress (emotional, physical, or mental)
  7. Poor Detoxification and Lymph Drainage
  8. Hormonal Imbalances (thyroid, insulin, sex hormones)
  9. Blood Sugar Imbalance and Anemia

It’s important to remember that healing autoimmunity is a process that requires both testing and personalized protocols to target these causes.

The Plan for Healing

Step 1: Comprehensive Testing
We start by understanding the unique factors affecting your immune system through blood, urine, saliva, and specialized energy-based testing.

Some essential tests include:

  • Blood Panel (to assess liver/kidney function, anemia markers, inflammatory markers, etc.)
  • Epigenetic Panel (reveals gene mutations affecting detox and inflammation control)
  • Cell Nutrition Assay (checks cellular vitamins/minerals)
  • Stool Test (assesses gut health)
  • Infection Panels (to test for viral, bacterial, and fungal infections)
  • Immune System Cellular Panel (to check immune cell function and dysregulation)
  • Autoimmune Antibody Panel to test for specific autoimmune conditions
  • Full Hormone Panel (thyroid, adrenal, sex hormones, blood sugar hormones)

Other tests may include Lyme disease, heavy metals, toxins, and mast cell activation syndrome markers. For neurological symptoms, imaging (e.g., MRI) may be helpful.

Step 2: Immediate Relief — Short-Term Support
While addressing the root causes, we’ll start with measures to help you feel better right away. This may include an anti-inflammatory diet, gut and energy support, and sleep protocols. These initial steps often provide relief while we gather data from your testing.

Step 3: Address Positive Findings — Your Personalized Priority List
Once we receive your test results, we prioritize the findings specific to your case. For example, if you have high levels of environmental toxins, removing them may become a top priority. Your personalized plan could include:

  • Addressing Genetic Susceptibility and Nutritional Deficiencies
  • Improving Gut Health (diet, enzymes, treating infections)
  • Balancing Stress and Hormones
  • Supporting Detox and Lymphatic Drainage
  • Targeting Specific Infections and Toxins

Why This Program Works

Our approach combines cutting-edge testing with personalized protocols to heal at the root level.

Your First Step

Schedule for initial consultation and testing. (Click here to schedule ) The initial steps also focus on immediate symptoms and “low-hanging fruit,” such as dietary changes, lifestyle adjustments, and basic cellular support.

Short and mid-term health goals include detoxifying from heavy metals, managing environmental toxins, and addressing any underlying infections to provide comprehensive care for sustained brain health and resilience.

Longer term goals include retesting and re-evaluations making changes and modifications as needed throughout care
